Summer Vibes
My name is Alexandra Barreiro-Futterman, an Argentine-American educator, soprano, and songwriter. I hold a background in vocal performance and music education from both Argentina and the United States. Presently, I have been teaching music at North Twin Lakes in Hialeah with MDCS for 27 years and actively perform in South Florida, giving many concerts throughout the year. My teaching methodology incorporates hands-on activities to promote music literacy in an enjoyable manner. When engaging students in private music lessons, I strive to make the learning process interactive and tailored to each student’s unique needs and learning styles. Students will learn musical concepts such as rhythm, music theory, and technique through piano playing, singing, or playing world music instruments. I bring extensive experience to my music classes, along with a comprehensive understanding of repertoire suitable for various age groups.
